BQ27520-G4: permanence of the golden image

once the golden image is written to the device via I2C - does that go into non-volatile memory on the BQ27520? If we were to remove all power to the gauge and then power it back up (remove and reattach the battery), would we need to rewrite the golden file or does it persist after power loss?

The process of writing the golden image writes it to non-volatile memory on bq27520-G4. The values will persist after a power loss

Small correction: The values are written to non-volatile memory but this memory may be modified by the gauge during normal operation. Just adding this bit of information to avoid confusion when a read back compare does not match 100%.
