LM25180-Q1: SW ring improvement

Hi Expert,

My customer is evaluating the performance of LM25180-Q1 in LM25184-Q1 Single-Output EVM. Just change from LM25184-Q1 to LM25180-Q1. 

And below is the waveform of SW node(blue) and the anode of secondary side diode(red). The output is about 12V 40mA. There are some ring on the switching moment. 

Could you please give some suggestions on how to decrease these kind of rings?

    Hi: 

    below ways may help to reduce the ringing:

    1. check the transformer leakage inductor , see whehter it is below 1.5% of magnetic inductance.

    2. check whether layout is optimized C5+->transformer->LM25180-SW->LM25180-GND->C5- loop need to be as smaller as possible, you can also refer EVM layout

    3. try to increase C10 to 100pF or 220pF see any help
