Hello,
1. Under what conditions can BQ34Z100 learn update status=0E. Only learn 06 now.
2. Is it necessary to set [Min % Passed Chg for 1st Qmax] to 90, and what will be the effect of setting 50? The battery is LiFePO4

Hi,
1. 0E can be achieved through one more charge cycle after 06.
2. I would strongly advise leaving [Min% Passed Chg for 1st QMax at 90%]. Setting this to a lower value may lead to large inaccuracies in QMax especially since this is the initial QMax update. Also, LiFePO4 has a very large flat region in its OCV curve so resting and updating QMax anywhere in this region would further QMax inaccuracies.
Best Regards,
Jackson
That being said, 0E is only for multi cell to indicate that cell balancing is active after a field QMax update is complete. As this is a single cell gauge, going to 0E has no difference from 06 so I would not worry about that at all.
