Hello,

The differences between SM72442 vs SM72445 is only switching frequency supported as follows?

   SM72442: Switching frequency is only 220KHz
   SM72445: Switching frequency is 215KHz, 135KHz or 110KHz

Any other differences between them?

    Hi Hirono-san,

    Thank you for posting.  In addition to the frequencies, the SM72445 can be configured to use the H-bridge FETs for panel mode (PM) or the dedicated PM switch, while the SM72442 must have the dedicated PM switch.   Using the H-bridge FETs can save PM switch consisting of two back-to-back MOSFETs.   Also A6 programming has more flexibility /options with the SM72445 (refer to Table 2 of the datasheet).   

    Other than these, the MPPT algorithm and fundamental operating principle are basically the same.  Hope this clarifies.
