UCC28051: UCC28051

Part Number: UCC28051

Data sheet for UCC28051 gives equation 16  for selecting compensation components.  Equation 16 doesn't seem to return usable values for CV2.   For the equation I'm using the following values:

Vac(max) = 265, Fac = 60, gm = 100e-6, k1 = 0.65, Vout = 300, Rs1 = 0.34, Kcrm = 2, Cout 220e-6

Please let me know what I might be doing wrong.

  • Hi Linzer,

I am sorry I still can not find where does formula 16 come from.

And I try to compare the datasheet Figure 19 and the calculator, it follows well, so I suggest you can follow the calculator to do the calculation of CV2.

And I attached the pdf version of the calculation. you can compare the calculation with datasheet Fig.19.

and if you have mathcad software, you can also download the calculator to change the parameter as you need.

below link can download the mathcad version calculator.
