TLV733P-Q1: Accuracy and Dropout Voltage at High Temp

Part Number: TLV733P-Q1

Hi,

My customer has 2 questions about TLV733P-Q1:

1. What is the Vout accuracy for a 230mA load? The datasheet only provides a value for 1mA load.

2. I've shared this plot with my customer, is the data shown typical or max?

Thank you,

Katie

  • Hi Katie,

Unfortunately it appears that most of the EC specs were not characterized over a load current range, and I did not find any data that would help with Question 1.

Where did the plot you shared come from? I don't see it in the datasheet. My assumption would be that this is showing typical data.

    Regards,

    Nick

  • Hi Nick,

    1. Would you expect accuracy to remain the same over load?

    2. Kyle sent me that plot from the non -q1 datasheet

    Regards,

    Katie

  • Hi Katie,

The overall DC accuracy spec normally includes effects from temperature drift, process variation, line and load regulation, which all have an effect on it. The point is to reduce all of these effects to a single minimum accuracy spec for easy comparison, but removing one of the operating condition ranges reduces the reach of the spec and it no longer represents the accuracy over all operating conditions.

Yes, the plot you shared is typical data.

    Regards,

    Nick
