TPS54308: as above

Part Number: TPS54308

We use the TPS54308as part of a charging system for body-worn cameras for the security services and police but can't get delivery at sensible prices (the last price we paid was $30 !).

Is there any alternative or do we have to change the design for aother manufacturers products. We are reluctant to do this as the device performs faultlessly but we may be forced by the hands of our customers who are desparate for product.

Any advice will be gratefully received.

Paul,

The TPS56339 is a pin to pin compatible part with the same features as the TPS54308, but a lower maximum input voltage range (24V instead of 28V)

Unfortunately, the global semi-conductor market is experiencing demand which exceeds global production capacity, making availability of products difficult, so even an alternate part may be difficult to find.

TI's direct sales store does offer a "notify me" option to notify when material is available.
