UCC21750-Q1: UCC21750 -Q1 AIN Pin

Please suggest if AIN pin is not used in UCC21750-Q1 then what will do the AIN pin .If the pin left open or tied to Vcc or GND.

    Gowthameswrao, 

    if the APWM system is unused:

    1) AIN should be tied to the COM pin (this is connected to IGBT emitter or FET source. If using resistor, use 0ohm. 

    2) APWM output MUST be left open/floating. tying this pin to GND or VCC will damage the IC. 

    Please see table below for what to do with unused pins as a reference.
