LMZ30604: Is it possible to use multi INH of LMZ30604 by one FET

My customer is considering LMZM30604 and has a question.

I would be grateful if you could advise.

I'd like to use multiple LMZ30604s.

According to the datasheet P.18 Figure 22, it is described INH control by FET.

Also describes not to place an external pull-up resistor on this pin.

Is it possible to control multiple INHs of LMZM30604 with one FET.

Is there any problem.

Hello Shinichi,

Have you had a look at the newer, smaller and more efficient TPSM82864A/TPSM82866A power modules ?

The enable/inhibit scheme for this part is simpler and multiple in parallel can be controlled.

I checked the data sheet of TPSM82864A. Since it has the same performance as the LMZ30604, we will introduce it to our customers.

Could you answer the original question?

Is it possible to control the INH of multiple LMZ30604 with one FET?

As shown in Figure 31 of the datasheet, it is a configuration that LMZ30604 is supporting, yes.

If customer is following the Figure 22 - Typical Inhibit Control, I don´t see why customer should have specific concerns placing seven INHs in parallel.
