TPS40003: 3.3Ohms resistance beetwen SW and MOSFET

If I missed your point, let me know what are you were referring to. Typical Application schematic are identical.

Hello Yves,

The only difference I see looking at the Functional Block Diagram is zero-current comparator being used in TPS40003. See description in page 8 of the datasheet. My assumption is that having this resistor is important for functionality of the rectifier zero-current. You need to populate to ensure proper operation of the device.
