LM5166: Looking for similar component with higher output current

I am using the LM5166 but need a regulator that can support a higher output current - at least 1.5A, ideally 2-3A. The 100% duty cycle (due to the PFET high-side switch) is a critical requirement. I have seen some controllers that use an external PFET, but unfortunately I cannot fit those solutions on my PCB.

The synchronous rectifier is a nice-to-have but not a requirement.

Are you aware of any other regulators with an internal switch that can support a 100% duty cycle but with higher output current?

Hi,
Unfortunately, I am not aware of a buck converter that have the 100% duty cycle and higher output current. The reason being is because the PFET in general would have a higher Rdson compared to NFET and therefore it is only used for lower current because otherwise the power dissipation would be too large inside the package and thermal would be an issue.

I only know some controller that would have this capability (higher current & 100% duty cycle) such as LM5085.

If you don't need a high voltage input, maybe TPS62135 could be an option in here
