TPS566231: Distribution of Soft Start Time

Hello,

Can you share the distribution of soft start time.  I see the max of 2.9ms which violates a use case condition in my design. I need to keep soft start under 2.5ms.  When I review Figure 6-16 at the 12Vin use case , the soft start does not change over temperature.  Are there other factors that are affecting this 2.9ms max?

    Hi Jason,

    Sorry, we don't have distribution of soft start data for TPS566231P. Please refer to typ./min./max values as listed in datasheet. There is no other factor that affects this 2.9ms max and it is just part to part variation. If you need a fast soft start time, you can use TPS566231 which has programmable soft start with a cap.
