LMZ14202: What's the difference between the LMZ14202TZ(E/X)-Adj/NOPB and the LMZ14202EXT

Part Number: LMZ14202

We use the LMZ14202TZ(E/X)-Adj/NOPB since some years in different applications, but now it is no longer available by distributors like Digikey oder Mouser.

The LMZ14202EXT is available, but what's the difference between these? Only the temperature-range (-55°C vs. -40°C) or what exactly?

We need the answer as soon as possible, the production of the new boards are stopped!

Yes, they are P2P compatible. The temperature range is extended on the -EXT devices.

Please carefully cross check between the data sheets for these devices to ensure that there

are no significant differences that would impact your specific application.

Hi Michi,

I believe yes the difference is the operating temperature range. Therefore some of the electrical characteristic spec on the EXT part is guaranteed up to -55 deg C vs -40 deg C
