Hi Nuo,
TPS23881 needs SRAM to be loaded to be IEEE compatible. What's the required port power? If it is <=30W, you can use TPS23882B as it has autonomous mode. Thanks.
Best regards,
Penny
Hi Nuo,
If you don't care about IEEE compliance, you can use TPS23881 with autonomous mode. Please request FW access through TPS23881 product folder. Thanks.
Hi Nuo,
The chip has ROM code already to be functional. As I mentioned above, if you want to be IEEE compliant, the SRAM code must be loaded. Please check the SRAM code advisory in the mySecure folder and understand the limitations of just running the device with ROM without loading SRAM code. Thanks.
Hi Nuo,
I have granted your access. Thanks.
Yes. You can use any host as long as it has I2C. Thanks!
Best regards,
Penny
Hi Nuo,
Yes. You will need to get the data transformer with PoE rated power. Thanks.
