Is BQ2022A pin to pin compatible with Maxim DS2502+?

If not, what are the differences?

    Hello Jon,

    The BQ2022A is a battery authenticator IC. I am not familiar with the DS2502, but it seems that it has similar function to the BQ2022A, it also has the same pin types and package as the BQ2022A. It also seems to operate in the same voltage range.

    I would advice you read the BQ2022A datasheet and compare it with the DS2502 to see if it's a good fit to drop it in. The programming will likely be different between both ICs. Keep in mind, that the BQ2022A is intended to be used as a battery authenticator.
