Hi TI experts,

We have to design according to the specifications below.

Vin : 10~16V

Vout : 36V

Iout : 30A

I did use TI's webench. 

LM5122-Q1_simulation(30A).pdf

However, LM5122-Q1 is out of stock in the TI store.

LM5121-Q1 is in stock. Is it possible to design 36V 30A with LM5121-Q1?

It was not simulated in Webench(LM5121-Q1).

Please give me some advice.

    Hi Downey Kim,

    Thank you for interest in our device.

    For LM5122 and LM5121, they are both controllers, so they do not determine your power range, the power range mainly depends on your external MOS、 Inductor.

    But generally speaking, for your power range, you can consider using LM5122 to do 2PH parallel connection, which may be easier to design, LM5121 is not easy to use in parallel, LM5122 can support parallel use.

    If you're going to use 1ph to do it, you'll need to factor in your device losses and possible temperature rise.
