Hi Mercedes,
I will check with the team and get you back next week.
Thanks,
Nancy
Hi Mercedes,
can you please provide pictures of the top site markings for each?
Mercedes,
thanks a a lot. Short site question is there any specific reason for the question, means do you see any problem with one of the 2 parts?
I don't see that the parts pose a problem with the fit/function but I know our customer is going to notice and bring up the question as to why the internal structure is not consistent and I want to have the answer ready for them and also understand why as well for learning.
I'm doing counterfeit testing on these and want to insure they're authentic.
Mercedes,
thanks for background, I can tell that these parts have valid device markings matching our internal database checks.
To ensure parts are from TI we recommend to always refer to STC or PO to ensure the parts we bought and distributed via TI authorized channels.
Back to your original question: Yes there was a change in lead frame to support the delivery situation by extending capacity. For sure the change was fully qualified. No PCN was subjected because zero impact to data sheet parameters or functionality.
