Which parts in the TPS51200 family (TPS51200, TPS51200-EP, TPS51200-Q1, TPS51200A-Q1, TPS51206, TPS51216, and TPS51216-EP) are pin-to-pin compatible?
The TPS51200, TPS51200-EP, TPS51200-Q1 and TPS51200A-Q1 all pin-to-pin compatible. The TPS51200-EP supports defense, aerospace, and medical applications. The TPS51200-Q1 is qualified for automotive applications. The TPS51200A-Q1 is an improved version of the TPS51200-Q1, with an added polymide layer to improve reliability. This part is recommended over the TPS51200-Q1 for new designs due to the improved reliability.
The TPS51216 and TPS51216-EP are pin-to-pin. The TPS51216-EP supports defense, aerospace, and medical applications.
The TPS51206 has similar functionality to the TPS51200 devices, but is not pin-to-pin. The TPS51100 has similar functionality to the TPS51206, but is not pin-to-pin.
The -Q1 and -EP versions of the devices can still be used in all of the cases where the base device would normally be used.
