PTH08T240W: Max Junction Temperature

Part Number: PTH08T240W
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PTH05T210W

Hi Team,

What is the maximum junction temperature for PTH08T240W and PTH05T210W buck modules?

Kind Regards,

Jejomar

  • Hi Jejomar,

Please note that PTH08T240W and PTH05T210W are converter modules and not monolithic integrated circuits (IC).
Both modules are made of many ICs inside and those ICs have different maximum junction temperature figures.

Even though none of the ICs inside has a maximum junction temperature of less than 125 C, the maximum operating temperature for these modules is defined as 85 degrees C.

    Hope this makes sense.

    Regards,

    Yitzhak Bolurian
