Would you advise that TLV717P has thermal shutdown function?
If yes, what die temp will it be active?
I couldn't find its description even foldback protect function exists.

There is no mention of thermal shutdown circuitry in the datasheet so I do not believe it has this function. I think the expectation is that the foldback current limit will prevent excessive power dissipation during a fault condition, and during normal operation there needs to be sufficient margin to ensure the device operates at a junction temperature that preserves the longevity of the device.

As you mentioned, I noticed this foldback function can prevent the thermal problem because it will be triggered by being
junction temperature over 85°C.
