Hi team,

My customer want to set 2 level current limit which is explained in below apps note as Dynamic Inrush Current Control in Figure 20.

This apps note also highlights the sensitivity of TPSxHBxx device's ILIM-pin in Figure 5. 

Could you suggest how to achieve 2 level current limit with TPSxHBxx devices?

    Hirai-san,

    With the sensitivity of the ILIM pin on HB devices we do not have a method of dynamic current limiting based on the current limit resistance.

    Also please note that for this device, the current limit behavior is to shut down immediately. It does not hold current at the limit.

    It may be possible to use use the current sense output to turn off the device at different times with the help of an MCU but the limit should be static.
