TPS61016: Calculate output current with Vin

First thing is to understand the current limit specification. As shown in EC table TPS61016 has minimum 1.07A switch current limit.

Then you need to check how much efficiency level TPS61016 can go and choose one typical value. Choose 85%

Then calculate the inductor current ripple, assume 33uH inductance. For Vin=1.8V, the ripple is about 58.5mA.

So the maximum output current can be calculated as below:

=Vin*(1.07-0.5*0.058)*0.85/3.3=0.268Vin

You can simplify the equation per different Vin yourself.
