Hello,
Which Launch Pad model are you using?
Also the BQ75614EVM-021 already comes with a ISO7342 device installed on board, you can use this to connect to the Launch Pad.
In order to connect the ISO device to the Launch Pad you would need to connect your UART TX and UART RX pins and also connect a supply voltage for the ISO device.
If you look at the schematic in the EVM User's guide https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/sluuc37 you will notice the connections at U2 and connector J17A / J17B.
Regards,
Viktor.
Hi Viktor,
We are using Launch Pad TMS570 connect to laptop with standard usb cable.
How could we connect a supply voltage to ISO device?
Many Thanks,
Sanon
Hi Sanon,
For this you will need to look into the LaunchPad documentation (Start here: https://www.ti.com/tool/LAUNCHXL2-TMS57012)
In the quick-start developers guide (https://www.ti.com/lit/ml/spnu611/spnu611.pdf) you can see that you have a +5V and a +3.3V supply available at multiple locations on connectors J2, J3, J6 and J7:
