TPS74801: VR output drop delay time

Hi Expert,

Customer would to know how long duration time from EN low to Vout drop for tps74801 device?

    Hello Mark,

                      The VOUT 'turn-off' time would depend on the Load resistance RL and output capacitance COUT. The device has an active pulldown circuitry through an 833Ω resistor when it is disabled. As stated in Equation (1) of the datasheet (section 7.3.1), the discharge would have a time constant of  T = (833*RL*COUT)/(833 + RL). Most of the discharge should occur within 5 time constants. Thanks!
