BQ27220: bq27220 for LiFePO

Yes the bq27220 is possible to use with LiFeP04 type chemistries. It will require you update the OTP or the RAM with the correct chemistry profile. Please note the CEDV algorithm that the 220 devices uses does rely on the 7% remaining capacity point which is voltage based. With this type of chemistry (very flat profile) it is important that the voltage of this 7% point be below the knee of the chemistry voltage curve. The gauge needs a decent amount of slope to accurately know where it is in the discharge. So after you run through the GPC tools online to get the coefficients please make sure the EDV2 voltage is in the steep part of the curve at the end.
