TPS92391: nominal Vin higher than 43V

Part Number: TPS92391
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS92390

Hello,

The datasheet states that Vin up to 48V is possible (and in the recommended operation range of the device).

This applies also to TPS92390

But the over voltage protection threshold is fixed and set to 43V, above that the device will go into STANDBY mode.

In my application, I will not use a Power line FET, the nominal VIN voltage will be 45V in SEPIC configuration.

So I assume I can override the OVP threshold using a resistor divider between VIN and VSENSEP (which will be also connected to VSENSEN)

Lets say I will have the following circuit:

I assume this will make the Voltage at Vsense p cross the OVP threshold at VIN about 50V

while the UVLO thresholds will be around 10-11V

Is this correct, or am I missing any internal circuitry in the chip that would change this behaviour?

Best Regards
