TPS62120: Clarification on feedback (Vfb) comparator threshold and voltage line regulation specs

Part Number: TPS62120

Hi experts!

In section 7.5, I am confused by the specs for Vfb:

Could you please explain what these specs mean? For example, when the output voltage falls below a threshold and the comparator determines the switch must turn on. How do these specs come into play?

Any papers or resources for my learning are much appreciated!

Cameron

  • Hi Cameron,

The first line means the feedback voltage accuracy which is +/-2.5% refer to normal 0.8V. The second line means at the condition Vin>Vout+1V, Vout<5.5V and Iout=50mA, if you change the Vin, the feedback voltage variation is 0.04% typ refer to normal 0.8V. This is also a feedback voltage accuracy.

    Hope this helps,

    Thanks,

    Nancy
