Hello, 

I am currently working with LM5170EVM. I would like to receive loop gain information to design compensator for boost operation of LM5170EVM.

Can I use SFRA for measuring open loop transfer function of the plant?

Also, will there be any other suggested method to measure open loop gain of LM5170EVM in boost operation.

    Hello Jeet,

    The measurement is straight forward. A 50ohm resistor can be added to the top of voltage feedback resistor divider. Inject the perturbation across this resistor and measure the input and output. So any analyzer that can inject floating signals  and measure the two frequency gain/phase responses (frequency sweep) or direct calculate the output/input would work.
