TPS552882EVM-400KHZ: Issue turning on the converter with 15W load and 3V input

Hello,

I tried to use the TPS552882EVM-400K dev board without any modification, with a load of 15W and a VIN under 4V but the dev board doesn't start. This specs say that it's possible to use the dev board with a low voltage input down to 2.7V.

Do you have a clue why it didn't work?

Hi Amaury,

Could you try run the test with no load condition? After the Vout is ready, then applying the 15W load.

OK yes i turn the TPS ON and then i turn on my electronic load to 15W. This config work now but do i need to have a pre-charge circuit? or can i change something on the dev board?

Hi Amaury,

Did you set the electronic load as constant current load or constant resistance load?

May I know how would you like to use TPS552882 to supply for?
