TPS2001D: reverse voltage protection at EN=Low

Part Number: TPS2001D

Hello,

Our customer has asked if TPS2001D is damaged at EN=Low with/without certain power supply.

case-1 : VIN=off (0V), EN=off (Low : disenable), VOUT=5.5V

case-2 : VIN=on (e.g. 5V), EN=off (Low : disenable), VOUT=5.5V.

I suppose that approx.10mA current is flown to discharge resistance in case-2, but no current in case-1. So case-1 is safe but case-2 is damage but depending on resistor current capability.

Could you please help us if TPS2001DDGKR is going to be damaged in both cases.

Best regards,
