TPS54060: Current Limit at different Vin

Hi,

I would like to know how will the current limit change at different Vin, at datasheet, only VIN = 12 V, TJ = 25°C is tested for 0.94A current limit-what about Vin at 24, 36 and 48V?

how will the device behave when it the current higher as current limit? will it be turned off?

    Hello

    The point at which the current limit is tripped may depend on the duty cycle and therefore the input voltage.

    This device uses cycle-by-cycle current limit for overload and frequency foldback for short circuit protection.

    More details can be found in the data sheet.

    The best way to ensure that this device is suitable for your application is to test on the bench with the EVM for this device.
