Hi All,

I have a question about TPS386040.

Is it possible to disable the Watchdog Timer?
I don't think I can disable the Watchdog Timer.
If I can disable the Watchdog Timer, can I connect WDI to GND?

Hi Masoud-san,

I have additional questions.
Can the TPS386000 disable the watchdog timer?
The customer has connected the WDI of the TPS386000 to GND. Customer says it's working properly.
Is it the correct usage?

Thank you for your reply.
The E2E below states that WDI should be floating if WDI is not used.
If not used, does it work properly even when floating? Is RSET1 output?
Please answer for both TPS386040 and TPS386000.
