TPS650330-Q1: Quiescent current

Part Number: TPS650330-Q1

Dear team,

I don't understand the 10mA spec as below. Is it our PMIC's total quiescent current? What is the status now for BUCK1/2/3 and LDO?

In addition, for LDO, we can see the quiescent current--on/off state; for buck1, we can see the quiescent current-off state; for buck2/3, there is no quiescent current.

Do we have the detailed quiescent current for every channel?

Thanks & Best Regards,

Sherry

  • Hi Sherry,

This spec is the current consumption by VSYS and VSYS_S pin during any operation in the On state (VSYS >= 4.0 V). This does not include the current consumption of the PVINx pins.

Is there a particular reason you are interested in the quiescent current for each regulator?

Typically in camera applications, once the outputs are enabled, the loads (serializer, imager, etc) will be enabled shortly after. At that point the operating current of those devices will dominate the operating current of the PMIC, which is typically on the order of a few mA.

    Thanks,

    Gerard
