Dears,

We want the complete schematic including power Mosfet/Switch driving mechanism.

We got the schematics for BQ79616EVM & BQ79631EVM but here power mosfet schematics is not included in these evms.

SO please provide it for fast development as we have already started developing on functional safe BMS with BQ79616 device.

Hello Subhash,

Are you looking at the BQ7961x EVM user's guide? You can find it in the BQ7x61x_Development MySecure folder - Full data sheet and other design resources are available. Request now. I recommend looking at that for schematics of the EVM. The NPN input supply circuitry is mentioned there (snapshot below).

Just want know for fast development BMS stackable board BQ79631EVM will be better approach?. Here we have also seen some of the POWER contractor/Mosfet driver IC used in the system.

Can you please provide the part used to drive POWER mosfet/contactor in the BMS board. Can you also provide the complete Schematics based on attached picture.

Can you please provide some of the reference tida reference schematics based on BQ79616 device.

Sorry for the delayed reply. If you are looking for pyro-fuse driver or relay driver, here are some recommended part numbers:

Pyro-fuse driver - DRV3901-Q1

Relay driver - DRV3946-Q1

Hi E2E Team,

After so many requests we don't get ample support from E2E team.

The Complete schematics for Safety functional BMS (BQ79616-Q1 based BMS ) is not provided.

With this little support It is very difficult for us to carry forward TI functional safety (ISO26262) BMS solution to next stage ( functional evaluations).

We are still hoping for ample/great support for your end for our fast development activity.

NOTE: - Complete schematics Includes Charge Pump to driver Power mosfets, necessary isolation power circuits to driver power mosfets, Microcontroller to AFE interface circuit, HEV/EV Isolations Circuit, etc.

Hi Alex,

further clarification on my request:

For low current requirement we will drive parallel mosfets only not relay/ contactor. So requested for suitable mosfet driver ICs and their application note.
what precaution we need to take in the hardware side for functional safe BMS.
