I want to use the bq24160 as a Buck DC/DC converter from DC input only for a device that has no battery and is not powered by the USB power input.
Is there any problem ?

Hi Kagawa-san,
No problem. I recommend disabling charge when operating without a battery. Please note that compared to a typical dc/dc converter, the charger's transient response is not as good as we expect the battery to be present to assist with supplement mode.
