[FAQ] TPS6594-Q1: TPS6594, LP8764: How can I confirm that the correct NVM is programmed?

Part Number: TPS6594-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LP8764-Q1

This is relevant to TPS6594-Q1, LP8764-Q1, TPS6594x devices, and LP876x devices:

The NVM programming on your PMIC can be confirmed by using the NVM Validation feature of the Scalable PMICs GUI. The NVM programming of the connected IC will be compared to the provided .bin file to confirm its validity. If the programming is valid, all device registers should match those of the provided program. In certain cases, there may be a single or two register which is not overwritten that is used to identify the IC's program. These registers, such as NVM_CODE_1 or NVM_CODE_2, should not affect the device behavior, however it is important to confirm that registers that _do_ affect device behavior are set to the desired values.
