Hello team,

Do we have some documentation showing how to evolve design from TPS23753 to TPS23755, with Primary Side Regulation?

If not, what are the recommendations to look at? Ideally, we would like a "recipe"

Hey Juan,

We have more information on this in our Customer Facing slides i can send you internally.

But at a high level, the TPS23755 is intended for a 12V diode flyback for 13W. Please check out the TPS23755EVM-894.

Comparatively, a TPS23753A solution that is a 12V diode flyback is the PMP8803.

My suggestion is to copy the TPS23755EVM-894.

Customer would like to use the TPS23755 for a 5V (1W) output also, depending on the board.

Do you think this is feasible with primary side regulation?

Hey Juan,

The EVM is designed for 13W, so the efficiency is not optimized. Primary side regulation requires a specific transformer design, and we don't have a 1W version.

Honestly for 5V / 1W, the customer can buy like an integrated DCDC solution. Pair that with a standalone PD like the TPS2378 and they're set. That would be my recommendation.
