Is it okay to apply a signal to the ON or Enable pin (within spec) prior to applying a voltage to VIN?

Hello,

It's recommended to have VIN applied first otherwise switching characteristics may be different than stated in the datasheet. If VIN is tied to ON then the device will turn on at 1.1V with VIN being within recommended range.
