LM5163: -48V to 5V conversion

Hi team,

We need to convert +5V from a -48 V supply. We choose LM5163DDAR. Is it compatible?

Hello

You will need a boost type regulator to go from a negative input voltage to a positive output voltage.

I have attached an application note that may be helpful.

I will move this post to the boost regulator group.

Hello Anoop,

Did you review the app note from Frank? LM5001 should be able to handle this case, but I have to mention that I did not personally test it up to now.
