Because of part shortages, I need to replace TPS54340 on my existing PBC. In the past, I've replaced TPS54340, 40V@3A, with TPS54540, 40V@5A, TPS54360, 60V@3A, and the Cadillac TPS54560, 60V@5A. But they are getting harder to find. I saw that TPS54331D is similar besides the names the only thing I see different is Pin 4. On TPS54340 it is RT/CLK with a resistor. TPS54331D uses SS, slow start with a cap.
Is it compatible as a (near) drop-in replacement? What happens if I just drop it in. If I replace the resistor with a cap w/ a few nF?
Are there any other suggestions?
