Jack, as Sean mentioned, the peak current mode is different. The clamp at 50% is actually caused by the DPWM event timing. The DPWMs are turned off either by the peak current mode triggering, or by reaching the normal event 2. So our EVM code sets event 2 at less than 50% to allow for dead time between phases.
Filter output you are clamping goes to the start level of the peak current compensation ramp. So by changing the clamp, you are adjusting the maximum peak current level that you can accept, rather than the maximum duty cycle.
