TPS543320EVM: EMC CE Rating

Hi Amir,

We don't have EMI test data for TPS543320EVM. The EMI testing is normally done at a system level and this is about the complete application. Regarding EMI filter design, please refer to below application note.

Base on my knowledge, Most electrical and electronic equipment sold in the EU must be CE marked. So they need compliance with the EMC Directive “Electromagnetic Compatibility, 2014/30/EU”

Please see CE marking from Wikipedia as below. If TI EVM has the EMI test report, the test data will show up either in the datasheet or EVM user's guide.

Hi Amir,

The EMI performance of a buck converter is highly related to PCB layout. TPS543320 can pass the EMI as long as customer follows the layout example in the datasheet to minimize EMI generation.  And add proper EMI input filter in the system. We have module (such as LMZ21701) has EMI test data in the datasheet. Usually the EMI performance is better for module because the inductor and SW are no longer exposed which are the main source of EMI.
