Hi team ,

We have been using BQ24072RGTR in our products for the past 12 years . But in recent times  we are facing stock out issues .So we would like to know whether this stock issue will be sorted or is there any EOL plan for this in near future ? 
Also suggest us an equivalent replacement for this .

    Hi Sowmiya,

    There are currently no EOL plans for this device. All product lines are being affected by supply issues. The BQ24232 is a pin to pin compatible part though it only has a max charge rate of 500 mA. A newer I2C refresh has been released as of December , the BQ25180 which features a smaller form factor size as well as low Iq modes shipmode and shutdown mode. It's highly configurable in all the ways the BQ2407X family of devices was and can charge up to 1A.
