LM5060EVAL: Overcurrent Protection

Part Number: LM5060EVAL
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5060

It seems like the current sensing is not working on the AN-2000 LM5060EVAL Evaluation Board. So, I did a test, by replacing the sense resistor from 9.09K ohms to 2K ohms which will set the current limit to approximately 1.5A (According to the datasheet). I gave 10V @5A from a Tektronix power supply to the evaluation board, and I shot circuited the output terminals of the board, which means the LM5060 should turn off the MOSFET by tripping (by charging the timer capacitor). But even at 5A, the board doesn't trip, The MOSFET gets too hot in seconds. I am not looking for a precise current limit, I want the system to be turned off in short circuit events.
