I want to use TPS2493 in my two circuit boards for protection against transients, over voltage, inrush current etc.
My specifications are:
Nominal System Voltage: 12 V
• Maximum Operating System Voltage: 13.2 V
• Under voltage Threshold: 10.8 V
• Over voltage Threshold: 14.0 V
• Steady-state Load Current: 3 A
• Peak Maximum Load Current: 6.5 A
• Load Capacitance Max: 1000 μF
• Maximum Ambient Temperature: 55°C
Please suggest suitable input TVS diode, MOSFET part no, output diode for this application and other part values for inrush control, UVP, OVP etc.
What should be short circuit current limit ?
