How can I perform load switching measurements on this part? For example: set the load/output current to draw 0.5A for 5ms and then to draw 5A after that? With the expectation to see voltage bounce on the output.

    Hello, thanks for your question.  If I understand correctly, you are looking to perform load transient testing.  This can be done with two resistive loads of the proper resistance, and switch between them.  Or, you can use an electronic load like a Chroma or Kikusui to do the switching, which has the benefit of controllable slew rate as well.  

    The TPS62912 is a 2A device, so you won't be able to do the load switching you describe above (0.5A to 5A) without the part going into current limit.
