LM5155: Possible alternatives to replace LM5155

Hello there:

Since the stock availability is not looking good these days for LM5155, I am wondering if there are some other alternatives which can be used at this time. Right now we have a PoE BT design using TPS2323 and LM5155 together. I think LM5156 and LM5157 could be some potential candidates as an alternative, but if you have some other options which can be used as well please kindly let me know. Thanks!

Hello,

Thanks for reaching out. Like you said, the LM5156 ( and LM5156H) would be closest replacement for the LM5155. We also have the LM51561 and LM51561H which have the hiccup mode as additional feature. The LM5157 and LM5158 are also similar, but they have an integrated switch and therefore you might want to check if the spec of the internal switch are fitting your design requirements. Hi Ryan,

sorry for the late reply, unfortunately this thread got out of view.

There is not other pin to pin compatible replacement for the LM5155 except the once discussed above.

For other suggestions we would need the full specification of the SMPS.
