LM3644: Torch mode meaning

Hi team,

1. Can I said flash mode is just a mode that is lighter than torch mode?

2. If I pull TX pin to high or pull TORCH/TEMP to high, does this mean I can't enter flash mode forever?

or can I still use register to enter flash mode?

Hi Fred,

1.yes, and the duration of flash mode is limited.

2.You need change register value before switching between flash mode and torch mode.

1. how to change register before switching, would you elaborate the timing control in detail?

2. If I'm sure I don't want torch mode can I pull the TX and torch pin to GND?

1.Before changing the mode, you can turn off the LED and configure register again.

2.Yes.
