LMR16010: Could PG pin connect to GND through RC network?

Part Number: LMR16010
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS54360B,

Hi team

My customer used TPS54360B in previous project and facing shortage issue.

We are considering to replace it with LMR16010 which have capacity for customer so far. (This application only need 500mA output current so 1A device is also enough for them.)

TPS54360B PIN out is almost the same with LMR16010 except for PIN6. TPS54360B use external RC next work to add loop compensation in their oringinal design.

But if we replace TPS54360B with LMR16010 the PIN6 will be PG pin.

My questions is:

  1. Could we directly replace TPS54360B with LMR16010 in here without any PCB and resistor/cap change?
  2. Any potential risk to connect the PG to a RC network?
  3. Could we connect the PG pin through a resistor directly to GND?
