TPS62086: Output Discharge Function

Do I need to pull up the power good pin for the output discharge function to work on the TPS62086? I don't use the power good feature, I don't need this feature. Do I still need to pullup with a 1M resistor, as in the example schematic in the datasheet. thanks.
